Collective Investments – Marketing

The primary focus of this module is to introduce the learner to the market- ing of collective investment schemes industry in South Africa. Our focus in this module initially is on the regulation and requirements of marketing of collective investment schemes.

In the first three topics we primarily examine the Codes of Practice/Conduct published by the industry association, ASISA, that impact on the marketing function. In the last two topics comprising this module, we look at financial planning and requirements in terms of the FAIS General Code of Conduct.
